Sharing The Frugi Fun With Mention Me
Thu 7th Feb
Frugi, which launched in 2004 as Cut4Cloth based on the founders need for vibrant, fun, colourful and ethical clothing to fit over their son’s cloth nappies, has become category defining, now available in 500 retailers in 34 countries globally.
The brand produces the gold standard of organic cotton children’s wear, maternity and breastfeeding clothes, and bedding – accredited by GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standards – and sustainably sourced outerwear made from recycled plastic bottles.
Frugi already has a loyal and passionate following from customers engaged with the designs and the brand’s ethical and sustainable business ethos. Frugi draws on this and actively encourages engagement with their ‘Frugi Family’, a fun and honest closed Facebook community created for like-minded people to support each other, have a giggle and share their snaps.
Frugi spotted the opportunity to use its existing customer engagement to reach out to new customers. Partnering with Mention Me and their leading SaaS technology Frugi can introduce new customers while rewarding existing fans.
“Frugi is more than just a children’s clothing brand, it is a community of passionate, engaged people who love to share their experiences and their love of our designs. As loyal customers they are without a doubt our best advocates and ambassadors. Working with Mention Me we can reward these customers and reach new customers. Mention Me’s platform stood out thanks to its rigorous AB testing and extensive experience with similar brands. It’s an exciting partnership for Frugi and we look forward to seeing the results.” Hugo Adams, CEO, Frugi
From 29 January, Frugi customers can refer a friend. The friend will receive a 15 per cent discount on their first purchase and once they have made a purchase the referee will receive a limited edition Frugi inspired reusable bamboo coffee cup. Frugi customers can refer up to five people and they must be new customers.
“We’re proud to be working with such an inspiring brand. Frugi is genuinely making a difference within retail ethics as well as making gorgeous very referrable products. We can’t wait to see their programme deliver them even more happy new customers.” Andy Cockburn, CEO, Mention Me
