Join The Cogworks For The UK’s Biggest Umbraco Tech Event!

The Cogworks Is Taking The Umbraco UK Festival Back To The Barbican On November 9th For The UK’s Biggest Umbraco Tech Event!

Join us on Friday the ninth of November at the Barbican Centre, as we bring the Umbraco UK Festival back to London for the ninth year running!

Over the past (almost) decade, the event has grown from a small meeting of less than 30 web enthusiasts, to now over 300 Developers, Project Managers and Industry Leaders coming together to celebrate and learn about the open source .NET CMS that is Umbraco!

The day promises to be jam-packed with talks and sessions on different areas of open source development, content management, editor experience, front-end design/UX, future trends in tech, Umbraco in business and more!

There will be a community space which gives attendees a chance to talk about their chosen topic in a relaxed, informal setting (not to mention set against the awesome backdrop of the Barbican conservatory jungle!). It’s the perfect opportunity for first time speakers to gain some confidence in a super friendly and supportive environment.

We also have two panels which attendees can participate in, including an ‘Engagement Panel’, where we will be discussing ‘How can we better represent non-dev members of the community such as designers, project managers and editors’.

Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of our priorities this year, so we’re really pleased to have Intertech as a Friend of the Festival this year and are looking forward to a session from Chris Howard, Intertech LGBT+ Diversity Forum Co-Lead.

We’ll round the day off with a keynote presentation from the Umbraco Founder (and Chief Unicorn) – Niels Hartvig. During the festival you’ll have the chance to meet with a number of members from the Umbraco HQ Core team, who will be giving an exclusive look at some of the new features and changes that will be coming up in the next year (V8, Headless, and Cloud).

The Cogworks make no profit from the festival (we put on the event purely for a love of the Umbraco community), therefore we are extremely appreciative of sponsors for the event which enable us to make the festival a success year after year.

If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor for the event please get in touch. For more information on our sponsorship packages, please email umbracofestival@thecogworks.com.
