The team at Absolute Digital Media will be taking part in the Race4Business event in Chelmsford, Essex, to raise money for Farleigh Hospice.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Birketts’ Race4Business and the team at Absolute Digital Media are proud to be contributing to such a worthy cause. The race is a 3.5 mile course around Chelmsford City Centre, with all proceeds going to Farleigh Hospice in order to ensure that they can continue to provide free care for those with life-limiting illnesses across mid-Essex.
Farleigh Hospice are highly reliant on the support and goodwill of the mid-Essex community due to just 40 per cent of their yearly running costs being funded by the NHS.

We believe in giving back to the community and hold a number of charitable events in the office as well as doing what we can to raise funds for the likes of Farleigh Hospice and many other charities.”
Farleigh Hospice’s daily costs to provide their services are approximately £16,039, which shows how important this fundraising is. The target of the Race4Business is to reach £20k in order to aid the Farleigh Hospice Outreach Project (HOP).
The HOP project is a vehicle which provides further information about Farleigh Hospice’s services, offering support and advice to the local community and providing as much support as possible to those who need it most. HOP was retired in 2016 due to mechanical faults which the Hospice could not afford to fix, meaning many of those in need were left without information and support – particularly in the more remote areas of mid Essex.
The Race4Business event is set to help HOP get back on the road, meaning specialist support can continue to be provided across the county by some of the UK’s experts.
