Senior Web Developer Vacancy

Here at CSI Media, we are looking for Senior Web Developers (.Net) to join our award-winning digital agency based in Crewe, Cheshire. You will take lead on a variety of Web Development projects.

You

• Have an excellent track record in delivering Web Development projects
• Be able to inspire your colleagues with your passion for web technologies
• Strong communication skills and able to communicate highly-technical ideas to a non-technical audience

Core Responsibilities

• Manage Web Development projects from initial conception to live deployment and beyond
• Assist with gathering of requirements, creating timescales and creating the project plan for contracts
• Liaise with Creative Team regarding design concept and signing off technically
• Assist Support Team with assignment of jobs to Developers
• Monitoring development and status of projects
• Manage and assign work to specific members of the development team and follow up with updates and catch-ups
• Review all development, implementation and testing to make sure quality is achieved before passing to QA team
• Managing a team of developers, overseeing their progress and helping them to achieve their goals
• Environment setup (Website configuration DEV, UAT and Production)
• Environment deployments (DEV, UAT and Production)
• Control and review Incident reports/Process review

Essential Technical Skills

• C#.NET 3.5/4.0+
• MVC .NET 4/5
• MS SQL Server 2014
• Web Service experience (REST / SOAP)
• Knowledge of XML / JSON
• N-Tier Application Architecture
• Unit Testing (MS Test or NUnit)
• GIT
• A knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Desirable Technical Skills

• Umbraco CMS experience
• An understanding of architecture systems
