Digital PR Internship
3 months, with the view for extension and/or full-time employment if successful
Curated Digital are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to support our content and PR teams. You’ll be a keen writer and storyteller who is hungry to learn, and aspiring to a career in content marketing or digital PR.
You must love content: reading, writing, sub-editing, and pitching ideas to publishers and websites. You’ll be strong on communication, and be confident in getting in touch with people, and making them excited about what we’re working on. You’ll have a keen interest in the news and what’s going on in the world. You’ll also be mad about generating ideas and getting creative and be ready get knee-deep in different projects.
Your primary role will be to support the content and PR teams, which will be a combination of producing content across a range of genres, and getting involved in outreach and PR for content promotion and specific campaigns. In doing so, you’ll do audience and trend research to see what people are talking about and figure out how we can join the conversation. Your role will also involve basic strategy tasks such as audience and keyword research.
This role would suit a fresh graduate or someone aspiring to a career in content marketing or PR, who is keen to get some experience under their belt. This internship will initially run for 3 months, with the view for extension and/or full-time employment if successful.

-Researching audiences, influencers and publications to target in digital PR campaigns
-Contacting influencers and publications as part of digital PR campaigns
-Audience and industry research to identify new content angles and ideas
-Writing onsite and offsite content for all our different clients, on topics including, but not limited to: business, health, and beauty & style. And of course, for our own site, too!
-Sniff out stories and think of new, interesting ways we can grab people’s attention
-Help to develop creative campaigns and find ways to pitch new ideas
-Growing and maintaining our PR and contacts media list
Stuff you’ll need to know and things you’ll need to be
-Confident and a good communicator: you’ll be getting in touch with publications and will need to be able to sell a good story to them
-Mad about writing. You must be a brilliant writer who knows what sounds right and what doesn’t work
Super organised: we’re a fast-growing small business so you’ll need to be ready to spring into action on different projects
-Keen to learn: you’ll be doing tasks across a number of different channels so will need to be quick on the uptake, and excited about learning new things.
-Enthusiastic. We all love what we do, and need someone who will share that enthusiasm with us!
