Chris Attewell has been appointed as the CEO of Search Laboratory, having previously held the position of global sales director at the company, where he worked with clients to maximise profits from their international websites through ethical search engine optimisation, PPC, programmatic display, online PR and social media, in more than 25 different languages. He is an international entrepreneur, who has already helped establish the business’ New York office and expand its global customer base from the UK head office.

Ian Harris is the founder and executive chairman of Search Laboratory, one of the largest independent digital agencies with 150 staff based in Leeds, London and New York, winner of the 2017 DRUM Organic Team of the Year, and voted Best Large PPC Agency at the 2017 Pubcon US Search Awards. A scientific, data-led approach (hence the name) runs throughout all their services, and they are one of a select few Google Analytics 360 resellers. Pete provides strategic direction for the team and works with clients to drive value from their paid media accounts.

Dan is the Head of Media and Online Relations at global digital marketing agency, Search Laboratory. His team is responsible for building lasting relationships with key journalists, bloggers and industry influencers, and pitching them engaging stories for clients, such as Viking, OVO Energy, and giffgaff, as part of their SEO strategies. Dan combines creative content with a data-driven approach, and has been instrumental in developing Search Laboratory’s in-house media relations software, LinkLab.

Chris converted to search engine marketing following 14 years in the PR industry. He has developed content campaigns for the likes of Sony, O2, Office Depot, PayPal and Interflora using whatever it takes – be it flaming firework flower petals or giant Darth Vader Post-It murals – to get effective results.
