Charlie Johnson is Digital Element’s Vice President, UK and Ireland. Charlie brings over twelve years’ worth of digital expertise to the team including specialisation in the areas of eCommerce and Geographic Rights Management, and has experience working with clients in both the United Kingdom and throughout Continental Europe. Prior to joining Digital Element, Charlie served as Head of Sales EMEA for RealNetworks in the consumer division, focusing on the publishing, subscription and media player business. Charlie holds a BA in Business and outside of office hours enjoys spending time with her horses.

Kate Owen

Kate Owen serves as Digital Element’s Vice President, Northern Europe bringing over 10 years of online advertising and technology solutions experience to her role. Prior to Digital Element, Kate spent 12 years living and working in Germany, initially in product management roles for digital publishing brands, and later heading up Business Development for the advertising network ad pepper media. In 2010 she moved to London to lead UK operations for the ad serving company Emediate. Kate holds an MA in European Business and is fluent in German. She is a native New Zealander who has lived and worked in Europe since 1994.  In a former life as a classical musician she gained both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the violoncello.  Kate is also known to occasionally break into the odd Monty Python tune.
