We are lucky to have a strong, historic relationship with Happy Beds; having been clients of ours since early 2016. Originally the team came onboard for search engine optimisation (SEO) after failing to see any general improvements while working solely with their web development company. Now we work with Happy Beds across all departments including PPC, SEO, and content.
Earlier in 2018, Happy Beds announced that they would soon become the first and only UK-supplier of the “Room In A Box” cardboard bed, and we were challenged with spreading the word about this innovative eco-first.
In order to raise maximum awareness and build strong online links, we decided to implement a campaign approach which began on Earth Day 2018. This consisted of PR and influencer marketing, an infographic and visual content, complimentary onsite content and a social strategy.
We wrote and promoted press releases which espoused the bed’s style credentials, its ecofriendliness, and its convenience. Using major news publications, online lifestyle magazines, as well as bloggers and influencers as a platform. An infographic was created listing simple changes people can make to their bedroom to boost their eco-credentials; this sat on its own evergreen blog post which was supplemented by the writing of a new cardboard bed landing page, a crowdsourced piece which shared interior experts’ favourite eco tips, and a blog post on the benefits of natural bedding.
The social strategy centred on the distribution of visual snippets, relevant product GIFs and videos, and engagement with contributors to the visual asset and crowdsourced posts.
The campaign performed incredibly well, gaining national coverage in major news publications and lifestyle magazines including:
- Real Homes
- The Sun
- The Telegraph.
“Liberty’s positivity and commitment alongside the strong results achieved through their intense efforts has allowed Happy Beds’ digital presence to flourish. We are thoroughly impressed with Liberty, from their prompt and professional communication to their creative and collaborative spirit!”
