ECA International work with blue chip companies to provide information and advice to them in their international operations and have always been seen as innovators in their field. They decided to transform their digital presence in order to continue to stay ahead of their competitors in this very niche industry. This involved modernising their website, as it was built on out of date software. It was also important for ECA to have full control over the content management on their site. As well as this, the company was going through a re-brand and so this needed to be reflected online.
What we did
We first looked at the design and UX aspects of the existing site in order to put in place our information architecture. Following this, we completely transformed the look of the site to create an outstanding user experience whilst ensuring that we implemented designs that were in line with the new branding. We built the site in Kentico and used widgets to ensure that everything is now fully content manageable. We carried out integration work with the software the company use to manage their subscriptions. There is also a small e-commerce section on the site which we needed to implement and ensure that it was available for multiple currency formats. For this, we integrated with Worldpay.
We used secure file handling to ensure that the information ECA provide is only accessible by subscribers. We also implemented contact management and lead scoring to enable ECA to analyse user behaviour and identify their hottest leads. Using our own macros and resource strings we have enabled the website to be translated into all relevant languages, this was essential due to ECA International being a global operation.
ECA International have a fully re-branded website which is now on a modern platform. The website is fully content manageable which will save a great deal of time when updates are needed.
The EMS software that we have implemented means ECA can now maximise conversions online through sophisticated marketing automation tools.
