SapientNitro developed anti-smoking application, ‘AR Lungs’, to alert teenagers to the dangers of smoking. Harnessing augmented reality technology, the app put users at the centre of an interactive experience by revealing their smoke-damaged lungs. ‘AR Lungs’ was featured in an episode of Channel 4 series ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ and reached two million people. The app has also had 80 million video views online and attracted 110 million visits to the site.
