Retailers Missing Opportunities to Incentivise Shoppers Through Apps

Research conducted by Teradata has revealed that the top 50 online retailers (by turnover) are missing opportunities to incentivise shoppers through their mobile apps

Just 56 per cent of the apps have a push preference centre for customers, and of this figure only a third actually send targeted notifications. In addition, less than a third (31 per cent) have any form of personalisation within their app or communications with customers. This suggests that many have ineffective digital marketing strategies, and as a result are missing opportunities for sales and to build customer loyalty. View the full results here.
