The results of the global 2016 Kentico Site of Year Awards have been announced and MMT were proud winners of two campaigns. The platform developed with Wiltshire Farm Foods has won ‘Best Integration’ and the agency was also been awarded ‘Best Cloud Deployment’ for the global rollout of the Allergan platform.
The winners of these two categories are decided by Kentico. The entries were judged against various criteria including the technical build, user experience, resultant impact on the business, and of course the specific criteria for the respective categories.
With over 1000 Kentico partners across 80 countries, the competition is incredibly fierce. This has only intensified after Kentico achieved the accolade last year of being named a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
Winning two awards in specialist categories is testament to the hard work undertaken by MMT Digital’s teams in partnership with Allergan and Wiltshire Farm Foods, something the agency is very proud of, and reflective of its position as global leaders in delivering digital solutions that transform business performance with Kentico.
Allergan – Best Cloud Deployment
Allergan is a multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical company that operates on a global scale. MMT Digital received the award for “Best Cloud Deployment” on the build, migration and roll out of its global and country sites to the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
There were many challenges along the way with a platform of such high profile, particularly when synchronizing between Content Delivery Networks around the world. The result of this truly global migration has been enabling the flexible scaling of resources to cope with sudden spikes in traffic and interest in Allergan. The new infrastructure delivers updated content rapidly to all corners of the world as well as greater performance in comparison with the previous platform, reflected by increasing visits and decreasing drop off rates.
Wiltshire Farm Foods – Best Integration
Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of Apetito, has been cooking and delivering ready meals for over 25 years. MMT Digital partnered with the brand to relaunch its web platform and enable the business to scale towards its ambitious future growth targets.
The “Best Integration” award is recognition of the complex integration piece which has provided the robust foundations for future platform and business growth. MMT Digital achieved this by working together with Apetito to integrate the platform with the local franchisee network which takes offline orders for its customers as well as fulfilling all orders. The result was 70+ instances of Microsoft Dynamics for individual franchisees, transferring information as necessary for the fulfilment of these orders: customers, products, payments, delivery calendars and minimum order values. Integrations also included the payment provider, eCRM and site support, brochure fulfilment partner and Postcode Anywhere amongst others.
