2012 is a year when mobile has arrived on everyone's digital agenda. However, every seminar and presentation on mobile is filled with pundits that are rehashing the same old theory to convince marketeers to go mobile or to talk about what has happened in the past.
In this talk, Sarat will talk about some concrete and practical ideas that you could implement in your business right now, whether you are a consumer-oriented brand or a B2B focused business. Sarat will talk about the hottest topics in mobile currently and how you could apply them in your business today

Alex Morrison - Managing Director, Cogapp
|
|
Alex Morrison is the Managing Director, Cogapp; award-winning innovators of digital experience whose work features user centric websites, interactive installations and next-generation mobile applications.
A student of mathematics, logic and philosophy with a degree from Oxford University, Alex wrote his first computer program, an online game for an IBM mainframe system, on a deck of punched cards. In the mid-1980s he became involved in knowledge engineering - the study of human expertise and the construction of correspondingly 'expert' computer systems. This led in 1985 to a move to Brighton to found a company associated with the University of Sussex's Cognitive Studies program, Cognitive Applications.
Alex has over twenty years of experience and knowledge around audience interaction and digital engagement. He blends a technology-led, people focused approach that has led to revolutionary work for many prominent institutions including nine national museums, the BBC and Ten Downing Street. Recent projects include the Eyewitness iPad travel apps for Dorling Kindersley and the website for one of the largest museums in the western hemisphere: The Metropolitan Museum in New York.
