The insurance industry is showing real promise within the digital world and this has been evident in recent years. At Aviva, we've worked on a number of high profile digital projects within the broker community, such as the use of augmented reality, an industry-first interactive video blog and a Rugby fantasy challenge game to coincide with the Rugby Union sponsorship. The perception is that Insurance is boring and 'behind' many other business sectors. However, as digital expands and grows further, I believe the insurance industry will embrace these changes and Aviva will continue to push the digital marketing boundaries throughout 2011.
