Brief
Entrepreneur businessman Andy Fisher was looking for a digital agency to help with an idea for a new web platform that would enable businesses, organisations and charities to broadcast messages directly to their target audience using a simple/intuitive web based interface.
After a series of discussions, Soak secured the project by producing a detailed digital strategy that expanded on the original concept, and demonstrated how Andy's idea could be turned into reality using a range of technologies, applications and online marketing channels.
Strategy
Designed to be more succinct and palatable than traditional communication channels, like post or emails, and more tailored than social media platforms, ipatter provides businesses, organisations and charities with a simple online mechanism that allows them to post messages directly to their target audience (or connections).
Execution
Our approach encompassed a broad range of activity including:
- Branding and Design
- Monetisation strategy
- Functional specification
- Site & System architecture
- Technical development
- Launch/Ongoing Marketing Strategy
Results
Following a soft launch in May 2010 supported by local press and radio advertising ipatter continues to go from strength to strength and has already attracted around 1000 ‘broadcasters’ that are using the system on a daily basis. The site is already seeing strong growth in traffic with up to 5000 page views per day.
With mobile and desktop applications on the horizon, phase two of the development plan has already been launched, setting the path towards national and ultimately global roll-out.
