Ella's Kitchen are one of the leading organic baby food brands in the UK, with a fast growing international presence. Paul Lindley, founder, passionately believes that children should have the opportunity to eat better food and also to discover that healthy food can be fun, tasty and cool. Inspired whislt raising his daughter Ella, Paul has pioneered an innovative way of penetrating the organic baby food market by positioning the brand from a child's point of view.
Wickedweb were approached by Saatchi and Saatchi X to manage the digital marketing strategy and implementation for Ella's Kitchen online. The initial brief was to design and build a new website which is easy to use and reflective of Ellas' unique positioning and brand ethos. As such, Wickedweb created one of their most unique looking sites to date powered by Wickedweb’s Content Management System. The site oozes with creativity, stylization and brand personality with many animated features such as dancing packs, buzzing bees and sprouting daisies.
Another key differentiation of this site is it's accessibility to foreign languages. Sitting on separate locales, Ella's Kitchen has been translated into 5 foreign languages each speaking to their local audience in their native tongue. The site also benefits from Wickedweb's articles module, displaying their press updates in an effective way, and bespoke development such as the 'Upload your recipe' module allowing users to submit recipe details and provide a more interactive and engaging online tool.
Post website launch, Wickedweb have maintained a fully integrated brand engagement strategy for Ella's, through effective management of the Search Engine Optimisation, Social Media, Online Advertising and Email Marketing channels. As a result of this, Wickedweb are proud to retain the No 1 natural search positioning for organic baby food and are also now advising on the international search engine marketing strategy to improve brand awareness and drive traffic across regional markets. Wickedweb also lead the UK Social Media planning to ensure a strong integrated presence through regular campaigns across leading platforms including Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.
Wickedweb are currently working on a suite of tactics to increase loyalty and engagement with the brand which will be rolled out this year, and is proud to have recently been presented with the IMA Best In Class award for design, functionality, cross browser compatibility, usability and content for the Ella's Kitchen website.
