LILO developed and designed a comprehensive CMS website for Bacon’s College. We developed and designed our own user-centric LILO CMS, giving staff-members of Bacon’s College administrative control over the entire website. Staff members can upload pages, content, images, news articles, calendars and a variety of other assets and features.
Brief
Bacon’s College approached Lilo for the development and design of a comprehensive and unique CMS website. The College specialises in digital media and this theme had to be evident throughout the design and functionality of the site.
The challenge for Lilo was two-fold: Translate sophisticated technology into an accessible and easy-to-us CMS platform and streamline the everyday administrative processes of the college through intelligent CMS design.
Strategy
As with all of our projects, excessive research precedes development and design. This kick-starts the problem solving process and is our way finding new, improved ways of delivering design and technology. Our design and development team benchmarked some of the latest CMS technology and design trends. This enables us establish the best approach by combining a variety of new and existing thought-processes and developing groundbreaking CMS design. Our objective was to create a CMS platform that would not only be unique and fresh but also user-centric.
Execution
During the development phase we combined the fundamentals of CMS development with original functionality and design. We wanted to present the client with a CMS website that was not only client-specific but also uniquely Lilo. Our objective was to build a CMS platform that would function as a prototype for future, similar CMS designs.
Results
Lilo developed a user-centric CMS design, giving staff-members of Bacon’s College administrative control over the entire website. Staff members can upload pages, content, images, news articles, calendars and a variety of other assets and features.
Through Innovative technology, users are given quick and easy access to the backbone of the website. Administrators are given quick and easy access to editable content areas where they can order, edit and upload pages and various site features with ease. Whether they want to upload, edit or view a style sheet, image, video or document; they will have access to all the tools they need for managing and editing the assets of the website.
