Brief
Sustainable.co.za is a South African based supplier of eco products who requested MediaVision’s services in order to increase superior traffic to their site and make a step towards becoming the top eco-store in Southern Africa. Their aim was also to draw attention to alternative energy products online in light of the energy crisis.
Strategy & Execution
MediaVision researched search behaviour in South Africa to determine where there was opportunity for growth. The previous website's conversions were analysed and it was discovered that traffic was not resulting in sales which was a main issue that needed to be tackled. The website was optimised accordingly and an online PR campaign was implemented. The positive results where almost immediate.
Results
In four months, search from non-branded traffic increased by 396%, pages per visit improved by 25% and bounce rate decreased significantly thanks to a carefully thought-out seo and conversion analysis strategy. The greatest achievement, however, was the dramatic increase of 1800% in sales revenue.
