Simon Ellis Music
|
|
Brief
To promote Simon Ellis Music as a premier pop talent agency to aspiring UK singers and musicians. To build awareness of the brand, stimulate enquiries, and build an email database of talented UK performers.
Strategy
London based Indigo Sky (http://www.indigoskydigital.com) used an online viral advocate strategy to communicate the credentials of Simon Ellis Music as a premier talent agency to talented, unsigned UK singers and musicians. They used celebrity endorsements from Victoria Beckham and Simon Fuller to boost exposure and build credibility for the brand. The online strategy focused on traffic building, lead generation and email capture via leading social media networks, musician networks and search engines
Execution
Indigo Sky build a dedicated flash microsite (pictured) at http://www.simonellismusic.com which featured testimonials from Victoria Beckham and Simon Fuller. The campaign ran a viral advocate strategy which ran on Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, Digg and StumbleUpon. The campaign included a live Twitter feed from the Britney Spears Circus world tour which, at the time of the campaign, was running its Australian leg dates. The campaign was also timed to coincide with the broadcast of ITV’s X Factor series. Google & Facebook pay-per-click advertising were also used to promote the microsite.
Results
To date, the microsite attracted over 8,000 views from the UK, USA and Australia and over 300 enquiries from aspiring pop singers and performers.
