Brief
The site aims to educate would-be car buyers on the different finance products available to them to pay for their next new or used car. Our brief was to increase awareness of the site and unique traffic to www.financingyourcar.org.uk. This coincided with a re-design of the site by the FLA to make it easier to navigate.
Strategy
After an in-depth Search Engine Optimisation audit and report we put together a strategy which included:
- Identifying research proven keywords.
- Content based link strategy which included writing extensive guides to motor finance (see screenshots below) and a new member directory.
- Search Engine Optimisation strategy incorporated into the ongoing website re-design, by another agency.
Results
- June to October 2009 non-branded search traffic increased by 500%.
- The total number of inbound links increased by 64% from July to October 2009.
