Brief
Bristol-based communications and design agency Proctor and Stevenson was tasked with creating www.betterbybike.info to promote the Greater Bristol Cycling City project.
Strategy
The site was built to engage Bristol residents using social and digital media to ensure betterbybike becomes a cycling hub for the South West. It offers practical advice to get people cycling; targeting business, schools and individuals.
Execution
It is designed to get people involved through content, forums, local links and polls and also enables the public to engage through social networking channels including Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and Twitter.
Results
In its first month the site received around 4,000 visits.
