Introduction

2.35-3.05
Jonathan Briggs - Co-Founder, the OTHER media
Mobile is about mobility not iPhone apps

This session will challenge the notion that every client or brand needs an iPhone, iPad, Android app (or whatever the next flavour of the month device might be). Instead, it will suggest that you need to think about your audience needs when they are out and about or slumped on the sofa in front of the TV and how this differs from the PC user at work or in their home office. We will think about information snacking, location based services, personalisation and service design while describing the opportunities for the mobile web as well as bespoke apps. Realistic budgets and project steps will be described.

3.05-3.35
Ben Scott-Robinson - Creative Director, We Love Mobile
Beer, curries and motors. Two delicious mobile experiences from We Love Mobile

Not many agencies have values, but we use ours to define everything we do. Here we will use two case studies to show the detail of how to produce simple yet sumptuous mobile experiences that seamlessly integrate into the core of a marketing campaign.

The Integration of the mobile opportunity

The “year of mobile” has been and gone and the medium is now firmly established as a viable platform for engaging consumers and driving significant revenues. However this provides new challenges of its own and a crucial one is how mobile operates successfully within a wider business. I will be sharing some insight into how Sky manages this challenge and the approach we take.

Mobile advertising - proven performer, brilliant brand builder

Mobile advertising has hit a critical mass and it's role in direct response marketing is well documented. With the recent leaps forward in rich media, interactivity and targeting, mobile advertising is now also proving a vital part of brand building strategies. This presentation looks at the drivers behind the evolution of mobile advertising, the factors to be considered when planning a campaign and includes case studies showing how you can get the most out of mobile advertising from both a performance and brand engagement perspective.
