Introduction

Jonathan Briggs - Co-Founder, the OTHER media
Mobile is about mobility not iPhone apps
This session will challenge the notion that every client or brand needs an iPhone, iPad, Android app (or whatever the next flavour of the month device might be). Instead, it will suggest that you need to think about your audience needs when they are out and about or slumped on the sofa in front of the TV and how this differs from the PC user at work or in their home office. We will think about information snacking, location based services, personalisation and service design while describing the opportunities for the mobile web as well as bespoke apps. Realistic budgets and project steps will be described.

Tim Hussain - Head of Mobile Advertising, Sky
The Integration of the mobile opportunity
The “year of mobile” has been and gone and the medium is now firmly established as a viable platform for engaging consumers and driving significant revenues. However this provides new challenges of its own and a crucial one is how mobile operates successfully within a wider business. I will be sharing some insight into how Sky manages this challenge and the approach we take.
